The room at Sayare Inn was absolutely amazing! It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable, which was a huge plus for me as I am not a fan of hot weather. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance to the room, making it feel even more luxurious. I also loved the fact that there was a tea/coffee maker in the room, as I enjoy sipping on a hot beverage in the mornings. staying in this room was truly a delightful experience.
I was a bit less thrilled with the desk in the room. It was not very spacious and did not provide enough work surface for me to comfortably use my laptop.

The warm welcome at this family-run guesthouse made me feel right at home. The delicious breakfast and dinner, specially prepared by the owner, left me satisfied and full. The location, although not in the main town, was peaceful and easily accessible by tuktuk. The clean and spacious room, with amenities like AC and hot water, made my stay comfortable. I highly recommend Sayare Inn for a pleasant and affordable stay in Dambulla.

The double room at Sayare Inn was cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning that kept me cool during the hot days. The private bathroom had free toiletries, making it convenient for me as a backpacker. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance, and the tea/coffee maker was a nice bonus for a coffee lover like me.
Personally, I found the desk in the room unnecessary for my needs, but it might be useful for others who prefer to work or study during their stay.

I recently stayed at this homestay in a quiet area for a few days. The room was clean and had a fan, and the garden with seating area and palm trees was really nice. The breakfast portions were huge and delicious, and they even provided free bicycles to explore the city. The owners helped us rent a scooter and organized a fantastic jeep safari tour with a guide. We saw elephants, buffalos, monkeys, and more!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The road leading to the hotel may be a bit bumpy due to recent rainfall, but improvements are scheduled for the near future.

For a very reasonable price, we had the luxury of air conditioning in our room and it was quite spacious compared to other rooms in the same price range. The cleanliness of the place was top-notch and the beautiful garden, along with the nearby lake for swimming, added to the overall charm. The WiFi connection was surprisingly reliable and we were thrilled to find out that the hotel provided free bikes for us to use. This allowed us to easily visit the famous Dambulla cave temple, which was only a short 10-minute ride away.
Although the owners were friendly, we felt that they could have been more open and sociable. At times, they appeared a bit reserved and hesitant to engage in conversation, which limited our interaction with them.
